Grateful for friends

As I write this, I am happy. I received an email from a friend I haven’t heard from in ages. His wife recently gave birth to a baby girl, and a new life begins.

For those that haven’t heard from a friend in a while, I’d encourage you to reach out and send a quick hello via email. It can make a world of difference. With many of us working from home, it can be easy to feel isolated. However, having a connection from the past, can revitalize your outlook.

I would say a letter is even better, but there’s a barrier to getting it done, at least for me. It takes more effort to get the paper, buy a stamp, and then wait for the post office to deliver it. That being said, if you can make it happen, I am certain that a surprise letter received from a friend would definitely brighten up someone’s day. There’s something really special about receiving a personal letter, especially when we usually just receive bills.
